1. Descripition

This vertical hollow 3 jaw lathe chuck is a patented product, vertical with base plate. The 3 jaw lathe chuck is a built-in cylinder ans is easily installed, with no additional power source, and air enters from the side to achieve clamping and releasing. Multiple chucks can be installed in a workspace at the same time to achieve multi-station machining, thus to improve the production efficiency.

The working principle of the vertical hollow 3 jaw lathe chuck is the clamping power source of the chuck is compressed air; when compressed air flows into the one-way valve through a distributing ring and then into the chuck cylinder, thus to drive the piston, so that the jaw clips a workpiece tightly; then, the reversing valve is powered off, and the air pressure within the cylinder is sealed by the one-way valve. The sealing device of the distributing ring is released, not to contact the chuck body, and the equipment can be started for normal work at this time.
The chuck is suitable for drilling and tapping machines, milling machines, vertical lathes and machining centers.
